Who We Are
Ma.Re. is a company born from Mattia and Rebecca's meeting and shared passion for the circus world.
A project born from the desire to tell intimate and universal stories through the body and movement.
The debut took place in April 2024 and since then, the show has continued its journey, meeting different audiences and collecting performances throughout Italy.
The company's first show debuts in April 2024, INTORNO, in the same year they participate in various events such as Imola Buskers, Faltereco, Buskers Faenza, Buskers Ravenna, Buskers Salò, Eurochocolate Perugia .
In 2025, they performed at various events, including the Venice Carnival, Faltereco, Botanico, and collaborations with Ufficio Incredibile. In 2026, their new touring show, SOMNUS, was presented at the Venice Carnival.

Mattia Verbeni
Juggler, he has undergone a varied training through various courses:

-Juggling with Shay Wapniez (BIPOLAR CIRCUS)
-Creation and juggling with Romeo Matteo Zaniboni (PETIT CABARET 1924) and Endika Salazar (Dikothomia company)
-Physical theater with Andrea Casaca (Teatro C'art)
-Acroportes with Diego Ruiz Muñuz (El Nucleo company), Slava Kukushkin (professor at the Esac high school in Brussels), Jared Van Earle (Acroyoga professor Montreal TT), Fernando Jorge Melki (LetiyFer company) and Nani rossi.
-Acroyoga with Jared Van Earle; acrodance with Maximiliano Sarford (professor Víctor Ulla te Bhakti)
Malabares with Endika Salazar (Dikothomia company) and Hugo Ragetly (Las 7 doigts de la main company).
He graduated from the Carampa professional circus school in Madrid as a juggler and acroportes. He has performed with various companies such as Artisti Rupestri, ACRONIMI, Duo Papie, and Petit Cabert 1924.
In 2014 he formed a small company of artists called ARTISTI RUPESTRI which in 2 years has performed about 200 performances of its shows in different parts of Italy (some important dates: buskers festival of Modena-Guastalla-Correggio-Falconara participation during the Bundan celtic festival and during the SMAU in Milan).
Since 2017 he has begun a journey as a couple with the creation of the group Duo Papie.
The Duo papie was present with the Carampa circus school at the Trapezi festival (Reus), at the International Street Artists Festival of Valladolid (Spain) - TAC and Madn Circus Festival in Madrid.

Rebecca Tollardo
Born in Pinerolo (Turin) in 1999, she began her training at the Palestra Sportica, where in 2006 she joined the artistic gymnastics team, competing for about ten years. A series of encounters and friendships then led her to the world of circus and entertainment, exploring the art of hand-to-hand dancing under the guidance of Geronimo Previati. This new passion led her to join the Compagnia Circhetto Sportica, where she works under the theatrical direction of Paola Martina. With the company, she performed in various circus shows, both street and stage, including "Korongo" and "Lalisera." At the same time, she continued to study piano, which she began at just five years old, participating in numerous music competitions throughout Italy under the guidance of Professor Isabella Ponso.
In 2021, she moved to Ravenna for studies, where she continued her hand-to-hand training through independent training and private lessons. Here, she also explored handstand and fire art, specializing in the use of fans thanks to various workshops with Nani Rossi, Auro Bulba, and Moko.
Environment
He is Mattia, she is Rebecca: they met on the street... and from then on they never left each other's side.

Somnus
Two characters from an unknown era move through the streets on their cargo bike, illuminated by tiny light bulbs and twinkling candles. A tireless cyclist drives it, spreading greetings and kind words through a megaphone while announcing their passage with a gentle ring of a bell, a sound like a joyful awakening.
Sitting in the trunk of her bicycle, a fisherwoman of dreams holds a wooden fishing rod in her hands. She doesn't attach hooks to the line, but messages of hope and aspiration, which she offers to passersby with the gentleness of someone who knows that dreams must be protected, nurtured, and shared.
No one knows where they come from or where they're going, but together they pass through alleys and squares, illuminating the path with their trail of light and words, bringing with them a small universe of smiles and wonder.
Sominum is the poetic journey of two dreamers on wheels—an invitation to continue believing that happiness can be found even on a street corner, behind the sound of a doorbell, and under the spell of a lit light bulb.
